If you’ve ever been to Thailand, or even a decent Thai restaurant, then you will no doubt have been on the receiving end of a Wai at some point. If you fly with Thai Airways then you will have noticed that there is always one or two cabin crew waiting at the doorway greeting you or wishing you well on departure with a Wai too.
